Kennesaw Mountain Park Hike

📍Where in the world is Déja? 🌎✨ — Kennesaw, Georgia🇺🇸 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

International travel is still on hold, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get out and see something new (socially distanced, of course)!! There are still so many things to explore in the states while still being safe and not getting/spreading infection, and hiking is becoming one of my favorites. Since the last one was “too easy”, me and the boys (@brucerants & @kmm_dee) decided to do a harder hike this time. We drove to the Kennesaw Mountain Park to do some of the Battlefield Hike. While the entire course is about 11 miles, we did about 4.5 and were TIRED. We hiked up Big and Little Kennesaw, and saw some interesting Civil War facts along the way. It took us almost four hours, and our legs were for sure sore afterwards. During our hike it started POURING down raining, and of course we didn’t have an umbrella or anything so we got soaked. But that just added to the adventure lol. We also saw a baby turtle, a bunch of old cannons and got some cute views of the Atlanta skyline (swipe left to see the funny TikTok I made). If you’re looking for a challenge, I’d recommend doing part (or all- if you’re bold) of this trail. The trail is pretty clearly marked and easy to follow, and most of it was pretty clear of people. Just make sure you check the weather first 😂 — Have you ever hiked in the pouring rain?
