Oh to be in life before covid 😩😭... New Orleans is easily one of my favorite cities ever!! While the skyline is severely lacking (that’s just the Chicago in me 🤷🏾‍♀️); the castles, the beignets, the FOOD, the DRINKS!! Honey, this city is bomb. Bourbon Street will probably never be the same (so swipe left to see me drinking a fishbowl pre-covid), but the city still has a lot to offer. I’ll be posting about my cemetery tour soon, very cool - would def recommend. Would also recommend that the next time you’re in the city you check out Soule Café (@soulecafe) for delicious food and bomb drinks (black owned, and they have outdoor seating y’all!!) Overall, I would say don’t go to NOLA right now expecting to see the huge party scene it was in the past, because you WILL be disappointed. However, it can still be a decent covid-trip if you level set your expectations. Have you been to bourbon street before? How’d you like it?
